About My Family
My family I used to live on a 16,000 acre ranch in Banner County, Nebraska. We moved here in august of last year. The reason we moved here was because the land owner that owned the ranch decided to sell it. My family and I were pretty upset but we knew that God had a great plan for our future. My dad was the manager of the ranch since he was 19 yrs old. I lived in the same house for 13 years. when we moved here last year was the first time I have ever moved. I also went to a really small school. The school that I come from only had 198 kids preK-senior. My Grade only had 14 kids in it and it was the biggest grade in the school. So it was a big change for my sister and i to come to a school like CV. My family and I also held a thing called the Nebraska Cattlemen's Ball. This is the largest cancer fundraiser in the state of Nebraska. We raised over 2 million dollars with 1.2 million going to cancer research. This was a 2 year long process and it took way more than just my family. We also had 636 other volunteers that helped us plan this event.
